The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded TE Tim Wright to the Detroit Lions on Monday in exchange for K Kyle Brindza. This is the second time in just over a year that the Bucs have traded the 25-year old tight end. The team shipped Wright and a 4th round draft pick to the New England Patriots last August for veteran G Logan Mankins.
When the Bucs brought Wright back this summer it seemed like they may have wanted to integrate him into the offense. He obviously didn’t start in New England as Rob Gronkowski was healthy the entire season, but Wright did end up with six TDs by the end of the year.
