Tampa Bay Buccaneers stand pat at trade deadline despite rumblings

Despite multiple rumors of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers attempting to make a move or two at the trade deadline, which was yesterday at 4 p.m., the team ultimately did not make any moves and stood pat. With a record of 2-5, Tampa Bay will play out the last nine games of the season with the same roster that they went into the season with.

The first and earliest rumor was that the Buccaneers were open to trading former first round pick O.J. Howard if they were able to get a “substantial offer” for him. Ultimately, they must have never have received that offer as Howard will still wear the pewter and red on Sunday as they take on the Seattle Seahawks.
