Reunited and it…may feel so good?
During Thursday’s preseason finale against the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht announced that the team signed cornerback Tim Jennings. After being waived by the Chicago Bears, Jennings was contacted by Lovie Smith, his former head coach from 2010-12, and asked to come down to Tampa.
Earlier this week, Jennings visited One Buc Place where he met Lovie and his former Bears teammates, Chris Conte, Major Wright and Henry Melton. The 31-year-old cornerback left the facility without signing a contract, but told ESPN’s Josina Anderson that he wanted to “sleep on it” before reaching a decision.
