According to Damond Talbot of draftdiamonds.com, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sent two representatives to Delaware University’s pro day, one scout and defensive backs coach Nick Rapone. The player to watch at this small school is none other than highly touted safety Nasir Adderley.
Although Adderley tweaked a muscle at his pro day and did not put up the numbers that he was hoping, having 40 scouts attend your big event is a good sign that good things are to come once the draft rolls around.
While the fifth pick is way too valuable of an asset to use on the Blue Hen safety, the Buccaneers could find themselves in position to take him with their second round pick if he manages to slip to the 39th overall pick, or if they wind up picking in the 20-32 range after a trade back.
