On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made their first series of cuts, waiving 10 players as they made their way towards the 75-player roster limit, prior to Tuesday’s 4:00 p.m. deadline.
- Dominique Brown, running back
- Quayshawne Buckley, defensive tackle
- Antoine Everett, guard
- Brandon Hartson, long snapper
- Joey Iosefa, fullback
- Kimario McFadden, safety
- Karl Schmitz, punter
- Al-Hajj Shabazz, cornerback
- George Uko, defensive end
- Jamal Young, defensive end
At that point, the Bucs had 80 active players. Five more moves needed to be made in order to trim the roster down to 75.
