Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Roster cut down to 75-player limit

On Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made their first series of cuts, waiving 10 players as they made their way towards the 75-player roster limit, prior to Tuesday’s 4:00 p.m. deadline.

  • Dominique Brown, running back
  • Quayshawne Buckley, defensive tackle
  • Antoine Everett, guard
  • Brandon Hartson, long snapper
  • Joey Iosefa, fullback
  • Kimario McFadden, safety
  • Karl Schmitz, punter
  • Al-Hajj Shabazz, cornerback
  • George Uko, defensive end
  • Jamal Young, defensive end

At that point, the Bucs had 80 active players. Five more moves needed to be made in order to trim the roster down to 75.
