The Atlanta Falcons have not won the NFC South in nearly a decade. Since finishing last season with an ugly loss to the New Orleans Saints, the franchise's decisions have loudly indicated that they are committed to trying to end that drought. The Falcons stole free agency this offseason, when they poached the biggest quarterback name off the market— signing Kirk Cousins to a $180 million contract. Regardless of how some may feel about the value of that contract, as it relates to Cousins' actual on-field value, the move does still show a clear aggression and willingness to take action.
