Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-sign Devante Bond to one-year deal

Jenna Laine at ESPN has reported that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed linebacker Devante Bond to a one-year extension at the veteran minimum of $720,000; this coming on the heels of the news that left tackle Donovan Smith had agreed to a three-year extension, avoiding the franchise tag.

With question marks on whether or not Kwon Alexander will return to Tampa Bay, as he will test his market in free agency, and the murky future of Kendell Beckwith’s ankle, this is a wise move to add depth to the linebacker room.
