Due to the depth of the draft as a whole and the various needs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on defense, there are several picks that would positively impact the Bucs at multiple potential first round spots. Lucky for the Buccaneers, many teams may find the fifth overall pick as a suitable trade-up location, should Dwayne Haskins or Drew Lock be in their sights.
In a shallow quarterback class, Haskins and Lock may fly off the board quickly if the Arizona Cardinals do, in fact, take Kyler Murray with the first overall pick in the draft. Buccaneers’ general manager Jason Licht has to be licking his chops at the idea of adding a handful of draft capital without falling out of the top-15.
