This offseason the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut punter Bryan Anger, more of a cap casualty than anything else, and signed free agent Bradley Pinion to a four-year deal to replace him. This move saved the Bucs a few bucks as they had (and still have) their backs against the wall of the salary cap.
Fast forward to today, and Anger has signed a one-year deal with the Houston Texans. While Anger will never be remembered for more than being selected in front of Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson back in the 2012 NFL Draft, he has put together quite a solid career after being selected in the third round by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
