According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will bring former New York Jets defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers into the mix as the defensive line coach.
Mehta also mentioned that former Jets head coach Todd Bowles has been gathering his assistant coaches for weeks. It seems like Bowles was prepared to be relieved of his duties in New York. He was ready to look for a defensive coordinator job somewhere around the league. He had his guys ready to join him.
Now that Bowles is the defensive coordinator in Tampa, he was able to bring in his best assistant.
