Three. More. Days. Thursday night cannot get here soon enough as the 2019 NFL Draft has has left many on the edge of their seat, this writer included, since the end of the NFL season. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have virtually no cap space left, so building through the draft is their only option moving forward.
At this point, the positions of need that must be addressed are within the interior of the defensive line, as it looks like Gerald McCoy’s best bet to be moved is during the draft, and in the secondary. Other areas of need that can be waited out include linebacker after switching to a 3-4 defensive scheme and having two solid linebackers to play at the second level in Lavonte David and Deone Bucannon, and offensive line where right guard is the only real hole and the team looks content with what they have up front.
