For a year that was full of high expectations, the 2018 draft was lackluster for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Defensive tackle and first round pick Vita Vea had a slow start to the season, but did pick up his game towards the end of the year. Vea will also fit into a 3-4 system much better than in a 4-3, and this year the belief is that his play will improve at nose tackle rather than a pure defensive tackle.
Second round pick running back Ronald Jones had a poor first year, and third round corner M.J. Stewart is trying a move to safety.
