The roster is lacking a true workhorse or even a true bellbow back to separate himself from the pack. Familiar faces in Peyton Barber, former second round draft pick from a year ago Ronald Jones, and a former player under new head coach Bruce Arians in Andre Ellington are not exactly known for being running backs a defense has to gameplan against.
While Barber received the majority of the load for Tampa Bay in 2018, he failed to eclipse 1,000 yards rushing and averaged less than four yards per carry. Jones had a hard time adjusting to the speed of the NFL game and as a result did not see the field often last year, while Ellington was out of the league in 2018.
