Yesterday we covered five players for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to target with their second round selection, and today, as the draft vastly approaches, we examine three players who could be selected by general manager Jason Licht in the third round. All three players listed have met with the Buccaneers to some extent and are all on the defensive side of the football.
The pre-draft visit portion of the draft process has concluded and now all that is left to do is speculate and wonder at the possibilities and draft plans of the Buccaneers. Based on the players brought in, the priorities in Tampa Bay seem to be adding elite defensive talent and depth, as well as finding an heir apparent to right tackle Demar Dotson; however, this tackle will likely be either a second round pick or a day-three selection.
