With the fifth pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took linebacker Devin White. Also on the board was Kentucky pass rusher Josh Allen, who would have been a great help to the Buccaneers’ attack against opposing quarterbacks.
Even after the addition of former Denver Broncos pass rusher Shaquil Barrett during free agency, the Buccaneers are in desperate need of some help off the edge. Behind Barrett sits only Noah Spence and Carl Nassib. While Nassib looked promising in 2018, he has never played off the edge before and may have a bit of a learning curve.
