The Buccaneers looked like they were in total control against the Saints, at least for the first half. Then, the tides turned as New Orleans’ offense managed to break down Tampa’s defense.
Tampa Bay’s typically high-powered offense was silenced by New Orleans. Their pass rush led by Cameron Jordan dominated the Bucs front. Jameis Winston was unable to take advantage of mismatches in the secondary with pressure in his face.
The Bucs made life hard for Drew Brees for most of the game. The Saints were able to move the ball on the ground late, but holding the Saints to just three points in the first half should translate to a victory.
