Seferian-Jenkins, Jackson officially out for Bucs versus Giants

TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without starting tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins for their game against the Giants at Raymond James Stadium today.

Seferian-Jenkins returned to practice two weeks ago but he’ll watch from the sidelines for the sixth time since he suffered a shoulder injury during a Week 2 victory at New Orleans.

In addition to Seferian-Jenkins, the Bucs will also be without starting wide receiver Vincent Jackson (knee) and starting defensive end Jacquies Smith (ankle).

Also declared inactive for the Bucs for today’s game: quarterback Ryan Griffin, safety D.J. Swearinger (toe) and defensive end Lawrence Sidbury.
