TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans have long felt Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett, who left Tampa after a 9-sack season in 2012, was the "one who got away." For Bennett, the feeling is mutual. In fact, he’s still not over it.
"It always bothers me," Bennett said to ESPN. "It’s one of those things where the girl you used to date, she marries somebody else. And you’re like, 'Damn, I should have married her.' That’s how I feel."
Bennett led the Bucs in sacks that season, but there were concerns about a torn rotator cuff in his shoulder.
