TAMPA —Shortly after the Bucs final preseason game against Jacksonville Thursday, Keith Tandy stood at his locker inside Raymond James Stadium and talked about the anticipation of preparing for the start of the regular season.
"We're excited to get to work and start on the Saints next week,'' Tandy said, referring to the Bucs first opponent.
Tandy's excitement turned to disappointment when he learned Saturday he was among the players released by the Bucs in order for them to reach the 53-man roster limit.
The 29-year-old safety was probably the most notable casualty for the Bucs on cut down day.
