Cornerback Ronde Barber is a Bucs icon. He was a huge fan favorite and one that will forever be known as the guy who propelled the team into their first Super Bowl berth. And the guy who officially shut The Vet down.
But in 2018, he’ll be known as the guy who announced Tampa Bay’s second-round pick. That is if the Bucs don’t use it for trade.
Joe Bucs Fan reported earlier Friday that Barber was called upon by the Buccaneers to do the honors.
Barber was the Bucs’ third-round pick in the 1997 NFL Draft.
