Fire the (soon-to-be new and improved) cannons! In a report from Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Raymond James Stadium and Hillsborough County officials are nearing an agreement which would bring vast improvements to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ home of nearly 20 years.
As part of their winning bid for the 2017 college football title game, Raymond James Stadium is expected to have renovations in place, which include new video boards and improvements to the stadium’s structure. Looking further in the future, the Ray Jay is still in the running for the 2019 and 2020 Super Bowl, pitting them against the other three finalists: Atlanta, Miami and New Orleans.
