The Buccaneers may be closer to dealing veteran receiver DeSean Jackson than we know.
According to ESPN, Tampa Bay is actively working the phones with several teams to ship Jackson — a move that would free up $10-million in cap space for 2019.
On the eve of the NFL’s legal tampering period, sources told ESPN that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been actively shopping wide receiver DeSean Jackson for a potential trade and that the Philadelphia Eagles would be a preferred destination for Jackson.
ESPN’s Josina Anderson is also reporting that both Jackson and the Bucs were discussing several options over the weekend.
