Bernard Reedy wasn’t exactly a shoe-in to make the Buccaneers’ 53-man roster. Tampa Bay retained just five wide receivers and had 11 for the majority of training camp. Four of them – Mike Evans, DeSean Jackson, Adam Humphries and Chris Godwin – were virtual locks to make the team.
But Reedy’s performance on special teams helped him land a spot on the Buccaneers’ opening day roster. That means he won’t have to go back to his day job, at least for now.
Reedy spent his offseason working for Care Ride, a company that assists with the transportation of wheel chair-bound residents.
