LANDOVER, Md. -- The Washington Redskins have enough problems and added another one Sunday: linebacker Ryan Kerrigan won't return to the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of a hand injury suffered in the first quarter.
Kerrigan returned to the sidelines, where he is in street clothes and getting his right hand taped. Rookie Preston Smith replaced Kerrigan, who becomes the latest starter to suffer an injury. The Redskins already were minus corners Chris Culliver and DeAngelo Hall, receiver DeSean Jackson and center Kory Lichtensteiger.
