Bucs players are off today as the final full day of their mini-bye, but the team is busy at One Buc Place, hosting not only a half-dozen kickers but also unsigned defensive end Lamarr Houston, who could be a boost to Tampa Bay's pass rush.
Houston, 30, is coming back from a second ACL injury -- he tore his right ACL in 2014 and his left in 2016, and was cut by the Bears in preseason. When healthy, he's been a solid pass-rusher, getting eight sacks for Chicago in 2015 between his knee injuries. Houston is listed at 6-foot-3, 274 pounds, and was an outside linebacker with the Bears but would be a defensive end in the Bucs defense.
