The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have placed Larry English and Garrett Gilkey on injured reserve, after both suffered serious knee injuries in the fourth preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Bucs have also cut sixth-round draft Kaelin Clay, which comes as no surprise given his lackluster preseason. Clay was tabbed to be the Bucs' return specialists but looked mediocre in that role, and could never latch on as a receiver. In addition, the team released rookies Ryan Delaire and Jude Adjei-Barimah, per Rick Stroud.
