A series of highly publicized gaffes has lifted the traditional gag order on criticizing NFL officials. The complaints are coming in from all precincts and Sunday’s games only added to the furor.
“I’m not really too worried about getting fined,” 49ers guard Alex Boone said after a 19-13 loss to Arizona.
