Mickey Evans was murdered by Mike's uncle, Sam Kilgore. Mickey Evans abused his wife, Heather Kilgore, and her brother eventually shot him to death over that abuse. Sam Kilgore is now serving a life sentence after killing his cellmate.
"It was tough and a lot of people have tough stories around the world," Evans told the Tampa Bay Times on Tuesday.
