Over these past few seasons, Mike Evans, wide receiver for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, has solidified himself as not only one of the best receivers in the game, but also as a top 20 player in Buccaneers franchise history. This unfortunately has been soiled over his career as the lack of production from this Buccaneers franchise has been far too prevalent, especially with no playoff appearances for Evans to showcase his talent.
The simple fact is Evans deserves better from this franchise.
Now don’t get me wrong, Evans has had his ups and downs. But with 54 receptions for 924 yards so far this season, he surely doesn’t deserve the blame that many others do, such as the untimely turnovers from quarterback Jameis Winston, or the poor game time decisions from head coach Bruce Arians.
