Tampa Bay Buccaneers player Gerald McCoy thinks glasses are cool and that kids who need glasses should get them.
The three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle has never been shy about wearing his glasses in public and so was a natural to team up with the Glazer Family Foundation Vision Program to promote good eye health and unveil the Bucs Vision Mobile.
The Vision Mobile is sent to about 60 elementary schools in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties each year and helps with vision screenings and eye exams, along with distributing free glasses.
Today, McCoy was at Twin Lakes Elementary School in Tampa, showing off the refurbished Vision Mobile and encouraging students to have their vision tested regularly.
