The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 90-man roster remained stable through the month of July, but there was one roster move just before the start of training camp. On Friday, the Buccaneers announced that they had signed veteran defensive end Justin Trattou, who played the last three seasons for the Minnesota Vikings.
To make room for Trattou on the camp roster, the Buccaneers waived/injured rookie defensive end Evan Panfil. Panfil joined the team as an undrafted rookie in May after taking part in the Bucs' rookie mini-camp on a tryout contract.
Trattou (6-4, 255) has played 37 regular-season games over the past six seasons, including all 16 for the Vikings last fall.
