The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got lucky with Kwon Alexander’s injury: according to Roy Cummings, formerly of the Tampa Tribune and now with Fan Rag Sports, his injury is “not too serious” and he should “not be out for too long,” which fits what Dirk Koetter said yesterday about Alexander not being out for long.

Alexander’s absence is giving rookie Kendell Beckwith some time to shine, and that may even carry into the third preseason—it wouldn’t be surprising for the Bucs to keep out Alexander as a precaution.
