Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com relayed word of Banks' status. The extent of the injury has not been disclosed.

Banks picked up the injury to his knee during the first quarter of Sunday's game while allowing a catch to Houston's DeAndre Hopkins. He limped off the field and has not returned to the game.

Banks, who has recorded five tackles in the first two games of the season was replaced by veteran Mike Jenkins, who is in his first season with the Buccaneers after coming over from the Oakland Raiders.
