The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might add another Pro Football Hall of Famer to their honors list in about a month. Former Bucs safety John Lynch was named a Hall of Fame finalist yet again, per Hall of Fame voter Ira Kaufman.
Lynch will be one of fifteen modern-day finalists up for the Hall of Fame, in addition to former Seattle Seahawks safety Kenny Easley as veteran finalist, and Jerry Jones and Paul Tagliabeu as contributor finalists. Those three candidates will be considered separately from the modern-day finalists.
The Hall of Fame voters will choose up to five modern-day candidates for the Hall of Fame, and that’s the part where Lynch has fallen short in recent years.
