Longtime Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans might remember when quarterback Vinny Testaverde revealed after a game in 1988 that he was colorblind and had trouble distinguishing between the orange-clad Bucs and their opponents.
Perhaps the NFL and Nike should have consulted with Testaverde before coming up with Thursday night’s special “Color Rush” uniforms for the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
Nike dressed the Bills in all scarlet and the Jets all in Kelly green.
But for colorblind viewers, the game was a nightmare. And they let the NFL know on social media.
