Winston along with other members of the Buccaneers family, made a stop at Curtis Hixon Park on Tuesday as part of their Better Bay initiative. The Buccaneers Academy Educational Huddle helped to serve 100 underserved students. The participating children all attend Buccaneers Academy schools ? 24 Hillsborough County schools adopted by the Buccaneers through a curriculum-based program that engages students and encourages learning. A majority of the schools are located in economically-distressed areas that lack some of the resources important to educational success.
