The injury bug has picked a bad time to infiltrate the walls of the Buccaneers training facility. Not only is the timing of the injuries horrible, but it’s hitting multiple players at once.
Tampa Bay released its first injury report ahead of their Week 2 matchup against the Lions in Detroit. On it was right tackle Luke Goedeke who was limited with a concussion and veteran defensive lineman Will Gholston his dealing with a foot injury. A thinned out secondary is still without Zyon McCollum who was limited in practice as he is still in the concussion protocol and Josh Hayes did not practice due to an ankle injury.
