In Houston, Bucs have a problem

Houston is one of only three current NFL cities the Bucs have never won in, going 0-4 against the Oilers and 0-1 against the Texans, with Buffalo (0-1) and Jacksonville (0-3) the only others.

But Lovie Smith has only coached one game in Houston as a head coach — in December 2008, his Bears finished the season in Houston, knowing a win could put them in the playoffs. They led 10-0 midway through the second quarter, only to see the Texans rally for a 31-24 victory, and the Bears finished 9-7, missing the last wild card to a 9-6-1 Eagles team.
