TAMPA — Saturday was Alumni Day at One Buc Place, where a strong contingent of former Buccaneers gathered to watch practice and share old memories.
S Dwight Smith, who returned two interceptions for touchdowns during the Bucs’ Super Bowl XXXVII rout of Oakland, said Tampa Bay’s defense is in good hands with coordinator Leslie Frazier in charge.
“I like coach Frazier because he’s a teacher,’’ said Smith, who was drafted in 2001 and played for four teams in an eight-year career. “He was my coordinator in Minnesota and he reminded me of Tony Dungy because he was always willing to teach.
