TAMPA, Fla. -- Gerald McCoy managed a smile despite wearing a color that he despises.
On Thursday morning, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle was dressed head-to-toe in Texas gear -- a burnt-orange stocking cap, a burnt-orange hoodie and burnt-orange sweatpants -- after losing a bet to Bucs teammate Henry Melton, who played for the Longhorns.
"I hate this color," said McCoy, who played for the rival Oklahoma Sooners. "I'm going on the record. You can write that. I actually said that: I hate burnt orange."
McCoy's Sooners lost 24-17 to Melton's Longhorns in the Red River Showdown on Oct.
