TAMPA, Fla. -- Former NFL offensive lineman Cosey Coleman has been arrested after authorities say he struck another man and tried to point a gun at him.
Tampa police say officers arrested 37-year-old Coleman at his home Monday morning. Jail records show he was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery. He was later released on $15,000 bail.
An incident report says Coleman knocked a man to the ground Jan. 11 at Ducky's Sports Lounge. After being escorted outside, police say, Coleman retrieved a handgun and attempted to point it at the other man, but security stopped him.
