The story of Louis Murphy’s tenure as a member of the Buccaneers is not a fun one. Missing out on the 2016 season after a knee injury sent him to injured reserve in 2015, Murphy had an unceremonious exit from the Bucs.
Now, things have taken a turn for the worse – and may signal the end of his time in the NFL.
Murphy, 29, was arrested at Tampa International Airport Wednesday morning as first reported by Pewter Report.
Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times has reported details of the arrest, citing Murphy was in possession of a loaded pistol in his backpack.
