Mike Alstott made a career of running through defenders while he donned the Buccaneers’ uniform, in a career that ended with a place in the Ring of Honor. This week, he made the Valentine’s Day holiday just a bit more special for some patients at All-Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg.
The Bucs’ alumnus, along with his wife and foundation, hosted a “Stuff-N-Fluff” party for more than 50 patients. The kids got to stuff their own bears, decorate cookies, make Valentine’s Day cards, along with several other activities. Patients that couldn’t make it were sent a kit to stuff a bear on their own.
