TAMPA — Jeff Gooch, a former linebacker for the Buccaneers and current VP of Football Operations for the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League, was arrested early Sunday morning on the charge of driving under the influence.
Gooch, 40, was pulled over while driving on the Veterans Expressway and refused to take a blood-alcohol test. The Spring Hill resident was arrested at 2:33 a.m. and released from jail on a $500 cash bond eight hours later.
Gooch is in his fourth year as a Storm executive under team president Derrick Brooks, a former Buc teammate.
