Former Florida Gators quarterback Chris Leak has accepted the head coaching position at Orlando’s Edgewater High School.
Leak, who helped lead the Gators to a national title in 2007, spent the past year working for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ youth outreach and development program.
Before coming to Tampa, he spent two seasons as an assistant under former UF coach Will Muschamp.
Leak said he wanted to get back into coaching, and working at Edgewater allows him to live at his Orlando home with his family. His wife, Latria, works in marketing for the Orlando Magic.
