Doug Williams was inducted into the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ring of Honor at halftime during the game against the Atlanta Falcons. He joins Mike Alstott, Derrick Brooks, Warren Sapp, Paul Gruber, Jimmie Giles, John McKay and Lee Roy Selmon in the Ring of Honor, which was created in 2009.
Williams is best-known for winning Super Bowl XXII with Washington in 1988, throwing four touchdowns in one half to win that game comfortably. But before he got there, Williams was the Bucs' first-round pick in 1978 and their starting quarterback for five years, leading the team to three playoff berths.
