The next pass Adam Humphries catches, which will most likely be thrown on Sunday inside University of Phoenix Stadium, will be the 100th reception of his NFL career. If his teammate, Cameron Brate, secures four receptions on Sunday, he will also hit the 100-catch mark. In some ways that would be a remarkable achievement for the pair of Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Both Brate and Humphries came to the Buccaneers as undrafted free agents, Brate in 2014, Humphries in 2015. Brate had a one-week detour through New Orleans in 2015 but has only played for the Buccaneers. Both players are already among the top five pass-catchers in franchise history among undrafted players, in terms of both receptions and yards.
