The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will likely be without safety Chris Conte against the San Diego Chargers. Conte missed yesterday’s practice with a chest injury, and ESPN’s Adam Caplan reported that he’s “expected” to miss Sunday’s game.
The Bucs signed veteran Major Wright to help shore up that part of their secondary, but Keith Tandy is more likely to get the start. While many Bucs fans have not been pleased with Conte’s performance, he’s actually played well over the past month — and Tandy hasn’t exactly played well in the limited playing time he’s gotten this year, either.
