Some good news on the injury front for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: running back Charles Sims returned to practice yesterday. ESPN’s Jenna Laine has some footage of him and Jacquizz Rodgers, who has missed the last few weeks with injury, going through drills.
Sims racked up over 1,000 yards from scrimmage last year, but was placed on injured reserve after just four games this season. The third-year back is eligible to return in week 14 and could conceivably play the final four games of the season. Teams are allowed to let one player return from injured reserve per season, and the Bucs designated Sims as the player that can return.
