TAMPA, Fla. -- Wide receiver Louis Murphy stood before his locker Thursday, his disappointment clear.
Two days had passed since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a torn right ACL. His recovery process had begun.
"Feeling some swelling," Murphy said. "Doing a lot of rehab right now. Trying to make sure I keep my strength. Just disappointed, really disappointed. Feel like I let my team down, let the organization down."
Murphy, the Bucs' No. 3 wide receiver, suffered the injury in the first quarter of a Week 7 loss to the Washington Redskins.
